    ZRT Announces New York State Certification for Saliva Testing

    Portland, Oregon, June 23, 2010 - New York state officials have authorized ZRT Laboratory to offer NY healthcare providers saliva testing to their patients within their diagnostic service offerings. 

    ZRT Laboratory worked diligently with the state of New York to meet all requirements and requests from the state’s special laboratory validation unit.  New York has its own certification process, which is different from other agencies that oversee labs, such as CLIA.
     
    As a laboratory with over a decade of experience developing saliva testing, ZRT has always made a commitment to the highest standards in testing.  As a result, their unique and customized procedures that are employed to create improved performance and accuracy for testing were robustly reviewed by New York officials.
