UX/UI Designer

As a full-time position within the Information Technology department, this position will work collaboratively within the development team and IT department in the role of a UX/UI Designer to help actively develop our next generation application environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Collaboratively work with existing development team and business stakeholders to design &/or enhance several separate application projects
  • Produce detailed mockups, wireframes, task flows and overall general UI/UX design across all screens, and prototypes, utilizing current UI/UX trends and best practices
  • Design customer-facing UI’s for web applications to ensure uniformity and clean design, supporting existing and planned form and function
  • Build internal-facing UI’s for internal re-developed application and related dashboards to support internal business processes and flows


  • 5+ years of experience designing and implementing customer-facing and internal applications
  • Demonstrated experience and adherence to UX/UI best practices, as well as strong knowledge of usability principles and techniques
  • Experienced with Adobe Creative Suite and other design/prototyping toolsets
  • Microsoft Blend and/or XAML experience is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills, organization skills, and ability to work creatively and iteratively with others
  • Ability to self-manage and achieve set planned goals in expected timeframes
  • Creative, technical, and strategic thinker with a strong emphasis on human-computer interaction and design
  • Coding experience (HTML, CSS, JS, PHP) and front-end development frameworks is a plus
